Pemesanan Mobil Di Agustus Melonjak Hingga 300 Persen

Seperti sudah diprediksi sebelumnya, penjualan mobil pada Agustus ini berpotensi mencapai angka tertinggi sepanjang tahun. Bagaimana tidak, hal ini terlihat dari pemesanan kendaraan yang terus mengalir ke agen tunggal pemegang merek (ATPM).

Simak saja seperti yang dialami PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM), hingga minggu terakhir bulan kedelapan tahun ini terus mengalami lonjakan permintaan. Rata-rata surat pemesanan kendaraan (SPK) mengalami peningkatan hingga 20-30 persen dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya.

"Memang luar biasa peningkatannya, bahkan kami khawatir bagaimana kinerja produksi untuk memenuhi lonjakan ini. Bayangkan, Camry saja SPK-nya meningkat hingga 300 persen, pergerakan mulai dirasa pada minggu terakhir Juli. Jadi biasanya cuma 120 per bulan, sekarang 300-an pada Agustus ini," papar Direktur Pemasaran TAM Joko Trisanyoto di Jakarta, Senin (24/8).

Di Toyota, lonjakan permintaan lain juga terasa di beberapa tipe lainnya. Misalnya, Avanza, Innova, Rush, dan Yaris.

Mengacu data Gabungan Industri Kendaraan Bermotor Indonesia (Gaikindo), pada Juli 2009 penjualan wholesales ATPM tercatat sebanyak 17.755 unit. Dengan kondisi yang berkembang, TAM optimis target menembus 18.000 unit pada bulan ini bakal terwujud.

"Pasar akan sedikit menurun pada September karena libur lebaran, jadi banyak hari tak efektif untuk jualan. Tapi, Oktober hingga akhir tahun permintaan akan kembali meningkat lagi," yakinnya.
